Parkinson’s may progress quietly but insidiously for many years before the neurodegenerative disease is diagnosed, according to a study conducted in mice.
The research, published recently in the journal Nature Communications, sheds new light on the surprising resilience of the brain during the asymptomatic period of Parkinson’s.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਤਖੇੜੀ ਲਿੰਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਨਿਯਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੋ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਦਾਇਗੀਆਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਾਮੀ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ।
ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਖੰਭਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਲਟਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟਾਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ- ਮੇਅਰ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਗੋਗੀਆ
