Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will participate in the Tricolor Yatra in the state's Jind district next week as part of his party's campaign for next year's assembly elections in Haryana. The tenure of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will end on 3 November 2024. Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Gupta, who was recently appointed as the president of AAP's Haryana unit, said on Monday that along with a road show in Haryana's Jind district on June 8 to sound the election trumpet in the state. Tricolor Yatra has been organized. He said both Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will participate in the grand event, which is expected to be attended by around 50,000 people.

The BJP-led central government is campaigning across the country for the construction of Sriram temple in Ayodhya. Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh will install 9 tall idols of Lord Ram before the idol of Sri Ram is installed in Ayodhya. Chhattisgarh will be the first such state in the country, where idols of Lord Ram will be installed. It has already started from Chandkhuri. 25-25 feet high idols of Lord Rama have been installed here. Now the government is preparing to start the Ram Vanagaman Path. 25 feet high idols of Lord Ram will be installed at 8 places. In the remaining 5 places, the target of installation of idols has been set by June 2023.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed grief over the death of people in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and announced compensation for the families of the deceased. 10 pilgrims were killed and 66 others injured after a bus bound for Vaishno Devi fell into a gorge after hitting the 'railing' of a bridge in Jammu district on Tuesday. The bus was going from Amritsar to Kattra when the accident took place in Jhajjar Kotli area between 6.30 am and 7 am on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

DSP Ashok Kumar said that the Dadri Special Staff Police team of Charkhi Dadri district arrested gangster Kuldeep alias Lambu and recovered one pistol and 24 cartridges from him. He said that Kuldeep alias Lambu of Mandan village in Alwar district of Rajasthan is associated with Sandeep Gadoli gang of Gurugram and apart from robbery, he has also committed murder in gang war.

Sriharikota- India's list of achievements from Earth to space is getting longer. On Monday, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched the navigation satellite NVS-01. The special thing is that this spacecraft is part of the Navigation with Indian Constellation series. Through this, ISRO wants to increase the capacity in the field of monitoring and navigation. In fact, the space agency has planned the launch of a series of navigation satellites, which will ensure continuity of naval services. The satellite will provide real-time position and timing services over an area of about 1,500 km around India and the mainland.

President Draupadi Murmu administered oath to Praveen Kumar Srivastava as the Central Vigilance Commissioner on Monday i.e. today. This information was given in a statement issued from Rashtrapati Bhavan. Srivastava on the post of Central Vigilance Commissioner Suresh N. Patel was serving as the acting Central Vigilance Commissioner since December last year after the completion of his tenure. The ceremony was attended by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi among other distinguished guests.
